Fildena is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis. It belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors.
It is available in the form of a tablet and should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken about 30 minutes to one hour before sexual activity. It takes between 4 and 6 hours for the effects of this medicine to take effect.
If you experience any of the following side effects, you should stop taking this medication and seek medical attention immediately: flushing, numbness in your hands or feet, painful erections, or excessive sleepiness. These symptoms may not be serious but can cause a lot of discomfort.
You should also avoid using this drug if you have low blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or if you’ve had a heart attack or stroke within the past six months. This medication can also cause drowsiness, so you should avoid driving after you’ve taken it.
